Favorite Food

My favorite food is deffinately tacos. Tacos are better than seeing a baby be born. I enjoy eating as many tacos as I can. It makes me feel special.

Turkey Pond

The painting of Turkey Pond was somewhat confusing. I thought the man in the painting was a biker, and he's standing in a beautifully painted field. I don't think he fits in with the painting, so it's odd. It didn't really connect with me on a spiritual level, but it made my heart smile :P

Gift

If I could give anyone any gift in the world, I would have to give Lady Gaga a rocket she could take into space where no one can hear her "sing". Also, I'd limit the amount of gas in the rocket so she wouldn't be able to come back!

Discipline

I think the discipline in this school is a joke and should be more strict. It angers me that kids can run up and down the hall, swearing at teachers, and they get suspended. Their suspension is usually served in school where they can get on their laptops and play games and other crap all day long. I think they should be suspended in school and be made to do work and not have fun.

Christmas Trees

The coolest Christmas tree I've ever seen was the ones at our house. Our tree decorations are awesome and whenever I see one of my friend's trees, I think they look funky. We don't put ribbon or beads on our tree, I think they're ugly. We put lights and garland on ours, then explosions of glass ornaments.

Obama's Speech

I didn't get to watch the speech on tv last night, but I know what the speech was about. I had to do a composition on an article about it yesterday in AP US History. Quite frankly, I'm happy we're getthing the war over with. It's gone on for to long and the fact that it'll be over in three years should make the country happy. Hopefully, we can train the Afghani forces well enough so they can do their jobs now. If not, I fear when trouble comes back to Afghanistan, we will have to go back over and everything will start all over again.

Favorite Place

My favorite place is my house during Christmas time. We have the best Christmas decorations ever, and put them up everywhere. I especially like it when we get our Christmas tree because it makes the entire house smell good. My mom also makes chex mix and some kind of honey granola mix that makes the house smell great. It just gets better and better.

Punishment

I think the punishment in this counrty has softened over the years due to society. People fought against the death penalty and other unjust forms of punishment and got them revoked.

I want to go home. I want to leave, right now. I'm bored, hungry, and tried. Perhaps I have the Hump Day blues.

Favorite Saying

My favorite saying is probably "I told you so" because I say it often. I'm usually right about many things, and I love being right, so I enjoy saying that. Sometimes it's bittersweet, depending on the situation.

Dreams

I have crazy dreams all the time. On Friday, Spencer and I were at Hannah's house and watched the last two Lord of the Rings. About a half hour into the third, I dozed off for a minute. I know it was only for a minute, because when I fell asleep, Frodo, Sam, and Smeagle were at some temple place, where a lot of bad guys were pouring out from. When I woke up, they were still coming out. Anywhoooooo, I dreamt that I was playing a DSi and was looking for music to play. I was searching through the categories and paused at DSi Hip Hop, and pondered about listening to it, and then chose it, then woke up.

Then the other night, I dreamt that I was watching "The Orphan" and had to urinate, but movie wouldn't pause.

I need to stop eating before bed.

I do believe in Santa Claus

Just kidding, I totally don't. I do enjoy Christmas though. I also love Thanksgiving. Turkey is awesome, and stuffing is too. Thanksgiving is the only reason I consider November a month. If there wasn't a Thanksgiving, November would just be a crappy, cold, depressing month.

Gooooood Morning

Hello everyone, It's a cloudy Wednesday morning here in Bingham, Maine. Doesn't seem like things are going to warm up much today. It's going to stay a chilly forty degrees until nightfall, where it will be a freezing twenty degrees. At twelve in the afternoon, there will be strong winds blowing from the south.

Hunger

I'm so hungry! I want food badly, but I have to wait another hour for lunch. Hopefully there will be seconds today, because I want to stuff my face. I'm not sure what else there is for lunch. I want tacos, but the tacos here aren't very good. Perhaps I'll ask my mom to make some sometime soon.

Halloween

I don't really like Halloween much. I think it's one of those holidays that have lost its meaning over time. I don't think the phrase "Happy Halloween" makes sense, because one shouldn't be having a happy Halloween.

Mortal Kombatville

If I could make a new application on Facebook, I'd make Mortal Kombatville. You'd create a fighter and go around to other peoples fighters and fight them. People could spectate the fights too, because they would be on hte persons profile. It would be awesome (:

Jet Li is the man!

The other day, I watched Kiss of the Dragon with Jet Li, and I believe he's the best martial artist/actor ever! He totally beat up a corrupt French police chief and saved a hooker and her daughter from being killed. It was insane!

"You can't block the sun with two fingers"

I believe the man meant that the Taliban is large like the sun, and can't be stopped by our forces, which are like two fingers. We may have more people, but their thirst for our deaths is far to great.

Superstitious

I am not superstitious at all. I do not believe if I walk under a ladder, I'll be cursed with bad luck for a certain amount of time. It gets kind of annoying when people who are superstitious blame everything bad that happens to them on bad luck. Chances are, you're just clumsy, not cursed for having a black cat cross your path.

wind

Wind is the cool, sometimes forceful, blanket of air that rushes around everyonce in a while.

Songs that annoy the heck out of me are all country songs. I can't STAND country music at all. The sound of it makes me cringe a little and the lyrics usually make me sick. I find them elementary and I don't think they should be seen as art.

One song that I find annoying is Happy Birthday. You hear it all the time, and probably sing it all everyonce in a while. It's repetitive and pointless in my opinion. You don't need to sing to some one on their birthday, just say "hey, happy birthday!"

"Educators Discuss School Shut Down Days"

After watching that video, I think having some days where the schools shut down will be okay, because it won't dent our education by much. Teachers could still assign homework for that day using the Internet. It would be nice, too, because we'd get days off every once in a while.

I have never been to the Common Ground Fair, but it sounds very familiar. I would like to go and check it out. Maybe there's something there that would be totally rad! I hope so, becuase if I go, I don't want to be disapointed and end up wasting ten bucks!

My weekend

My weekend was okay. On Saturday, we had a soccer game against Vinalhaven and lost by one goal. After the game, I read Harry Potter and waited for Spencer to get home from MSSM so we could hang out. We ate pizza and watched Troy. It was awesome. On Sunday, I read Harry Potter and watched movies.

Mrs. Lindeman's Favey

As much as I enjoy Simon and Garfunkel, I didn't really like that video of The Boxer. I just didn't connect with it like I do with some of their other songs.

Vietnam conflict

The Vietnam conflict affects me a little because it was forty years ago. I think if I were to grow up more near the conflict, it would have affected me more. The only thing that affects me is how many of the vets from that war are now homeless and bums. It's amazing because we now praise our veterans and care about them more than ever.

9/15/09 Blog about blogging

At the moment, I'm not really enjoying blogging so far. I think it's annoying and time consuming. Maybe I'll get used to it and learn to love it, but for now, I don't. Last year, I didn't mind printing and emailing my prompts last year, and I didn't mind sharing my opinions, so in this case, I don't really mind the fact that the entire world can view my blogs. In fact, I would like the entire world to see my writting and comment it because I enjoy meeting new people... except creepers! I do not think my entries will change because I don't mind people seeing my posts, like I stated previously. I think you, Mrs. Lindeman, want us to blog so we can make your work more fun and more easy, which I'm totally for. I don't want you to get peeved and end up leaving us all :)
